Matthew was inspired to pursue photography when he was 19, during a short spell of living in New Zealand; finding words insufficient in expressing the vast, otherworldly landscapes, animals and fauna. 10 years on, he has built up a rich tapestry of experience, most notably;
Documentary/photojournalism of the Homelessness in Manchester - ‘Home Sweet Home.’
An editorial, for the Fashion collection COURBE AW/19
An experiential, multimedia project (film) communicating life with learning difficulties - 'Off Spectrum.'
Is currently waiting, diligently for lockdown to end; then he can continue volunteering at Red Eye (the photography network) and attending South Manchester Photography club. When Matthew isn’t talking about himself in the third person, he enjoys running up mountains, falling off boulders and writing poetry…about falling off boulders.
